Bout of Books 11.0

1:38 PM

I'm participating in the Bout of Books 11.0!

This will be my second time participating in this read-a-thon. I'm really excited and hope to pick up my reading this month. August has been a slow reading month for me so far and it's past the middle of the month already!

This week long read-a-thon will start on August 18th and end on August 24th. There will be fun challenges and giveaways throughout the week, you just have to keep checking back to the official website to know what they are!

If you want to know more about the read-a-thon heres a blurb from the official website:

"The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 18th and runs through Sunday, August 24th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 11 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog". - From the Bout of Books team

Now to the part you've all been waiting for! What will I be reading! Some of the books I've picked from my August TBR pile and some are new for this month. At the end I ask YOU to pick between two books for me to read! Please leave your answer in the comments.

1. First things first, I'll be finishing Where the Heart Is - Bellie Letts, since I've already started it.

2. Rules of attraction - Simone Elkeles

3. The Lightning Thief - Rick Riordan

4. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - J.K Rowling

5. If time allows, I'm going to try to read either, Dare Me - Megan Abbott or Mistress - James Patterson. You guys pick!

I hope to get through most of these boo, a little ambitious taking into consideration of how much I've been reading lately but I can hope, right?

What will you be reading for the Bout Of Books read-a-thon?

Thanks so much for reading!
