Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But she's still not safe. A revolution is unfolding, and everyone, it seems, has had a hand in the carefully laid plans - everyone except Katniss.

And yet she must play the most vital part in the final battle. Katniss must become their Mockingjay - the symbol of rebellion - no matter what the personal cost.

If you don't know already, this book is the last book of the The Hunger Games trilogy. This series is a dystopian and it has followed Katniss Everdeen after The Hunger Games, which she has survived. But that would have been a spoiler if you haven't read the two other books. However, knowing there are three book already indicates she has survived.

The trilogy concludes! I put this book off for so long just because I didn't want it to end! But part 1 of the movie is creeping up and I wanted to have it read before it's released. I've heard so many different opinions about this last book of The Hunger Games. However, I enjoyed it as much as the other two books in this trilogy. I became so involved with the story and the characters that I feel that I can't not like it.

First off, let me just say that there were events in Mockingjay that I would have never predicted to happen. Leaving me to thinking why did other people not like this ending? I will not give away if everyone dies or if everyone lives happily ever after but I will say that the last couple of chapters - like everyone else - I would have liked more story to it. I would have appreciated to know how the ending came to be. (yes, vague but I don't want to spoil other people who still have not read Mockingjay).

I gave this book a 5/5 stars. Like I said I really enjoyed this trilogy and this final book ended it with tragedy and survivors

I recommend this to reader who love dystopian and to people who still haven't finished this series yet. You need to finish the series!

Below is the Official Mockingjay part 1 movie trailer if you haven't seen it already! If you haven't read the books yet, maybe this will encourage you to read it.

Please share and +1 this review if you liked it and want more!

Thanks for reading!
