Mockingjay Part 1 | Fangirl Friday

9:21 AM

I cannot explain how excited I am about Mockingjay! I will be counting the days until this is released.

Here's a little back story of how I became to love The Hunger Games Trilogy. It was first released when I was in high school and one of my best friends told me I needed to read it. I read the first couple of pages and decided it wasn't for me. Looking back at that, I never gave the book a chance. When my friend told me the synopsis I though it was the weirdest.

During my high school years and while I was 16 years old I would only read and pick up chick-lit and when I say chick-lit, I mean CHICK-LIT. The most girly and cheesy romances you can imagine. I'm not complaining though, it's what I used to enjoy and it is what it is.

However, I then discovered my love of dystopian and finally picked up The Hunger Games in 2014, this year. I started at the beginning of this year and recently finished the last in the trilogy, Mockingjay during the month of July.

Since I read the first book I've been in love with the trilogy and I've been in love with the movies! I think that they're so great. I enjoyed Mockingjay, I've heard a lot of people didn't but one thing I agree with everyone else is that the ending seemed really rushed but I'll take it. It's how Suzanne Collins ended the trilogy and I've enjoyed it, so I'll take it.

I think the book-to-movie adaptations are great. I fell in love with the books and than with the movies. EEEEEKKK. I'M SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS! The whole concept is so unique.

We'll that's that and I'll leave the trailer of Mockingjay part one down below so we can all just gush with joy!
