Currently Reading & Monday Mission | Update

11:44 AM

Hey guys!
The lack of reviews this month isn't because I just haven't wanted to put any effort into writing a new review, it's because at the end of last month I was put into a reading slump! I know, the horrifying reading slump.. and since then I've been reading really slowly and haven't finished anything new to write a review for!

In addition to being in a slight reading slump, I also went away for 5 days to New York City and didn't have anytime to read during my trip. For the rest of the month I will try to get back into the flow of reading while working full time to get at least one more review up before the end of the month. Don't hold that against me if I don't though! Since there's only six more days until DECEMBER! WOAH. I can't believe that. But in those six days I also have to fit time to watch The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1!!!!!! I'm too excited to watch it.

Anyways, since my reading slump at the end of last month I've been able to read:

  1.  Four by Veronica Roth
  2. Chew: Vol 1 by John Layman (graphic novel)
  3. Chew: Vol 2 by John Layman (graphic novel)
and I finally abandoned two books I've been "trying" to finish but wasn't enjoyed the book one bit:
  1. Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson
  2. Farm by Emily McKay
and I'm currently reading THREE books at once.. which never happens! At most, I'll read two at once but never more than that. Here's what I'm currently reading:
  1. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstren
  2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
  3. The Rosie Effect - Graeme Simsion
So, you can see I haven't had much of a great reading month and if you take a look at my 2014 reading challenge you'll see that I'm now back to "on track" instead of SIX books ahead, which is what I had a couple of months ago and it slowly decreased!

I have a month and six days to read eight books in order to complete my 2014 reading challenge. It's possible is all I do is read during every spare time I get. Who knows how this will end but lets hope I complete my reading challenge!!

For my Monday Mission I want to complete The Rosie Effect for sure and possibly Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets if time is on my side.

What are you reading this week?

Thanks for reading!
