Danger is hard to resist in this sexy thriller from Becca Fitzpatrick, theNew York Times bestselling author of the Hush, Hush saga.

Brit Pheiffer has trained to backpack the Teton Range, but she isn't prepared when her ex-boyfriend, who still haunts her every thought, wants to join her. Before Britt can explore her feelings for Calvin, an unexpected blizzard forces her to seek shelter in a remote cabin, accepting the hospitality of its two very handsome occupants;but these men are fugitives, and they take her hostage.

Britt is forced to guide the men off the mountain, and knows she must stay alive long enough for Calvin to find her. The task is made even more complicated when Britt finds chilling evidence of a series of murders that have taken place there and in uncovering this, she may become the killer's next target.

But nothing is as it seems, and everyone is keeping secrets, including Mason, one of her kidnappers. His kindness is confusing Britt. Is he an enemy? Or an ally?

Black Ice is New York Times bestselling author Becca Fitzpatrick's riveting romantic thriller set against the treacherous backdrop of the mountains of Wyoming. Falling in love should never be this dangerous.

This is about Brit and her trip to the cabin with her bestfriend, her bestfriends boyfriend and her bestfriends brother for spring break. Brit planned a hiking trip instead of heasing to the beach with her other friends because of her break up with her bestfrends brother. Yup, Brit was dating her best friends brother and now, she can't get over it and she's stuck seeing him on their trip to the cabin with him.

Brit and her best friend get stuck in a snow storm while on their way to the cabin where they decide it will be better to hike and find a shelter before they freeze in the car. The story unravels from there.

I enjoyed this book a whole lot but at the same time the main characters gets really annoying at times. This is my first Becca Fitzpatrick novel and I have no intentions in reading her Hush Hush series.

I was really excited about the plot of this book the minute I heard about it and I really enjoyed it. I didn't feel it was necessary to make the main characters super niave about strangers, even when the guys are cute. It was like the main character was purposely seeking out danger especially after they get stranded in the storm and decided to STAY with two sketch guys in the woods up in the hills. But it worked. The style of writing of this book was fun to read and the plot was fun to read about. Even though some of the content was darker (which was a given, this book is about kidnapping) it had it's lighthearted moments to even it out.

Even with all of these annoying bits and bops I thought the story was really fun to follow and I'm a sucker for the type of ending this book had.
